A situation which fails to progress.....
It is unfortunate to note, that despite an increasing number of women attending business schools over the last 30 years, and their massive arrival on the labour market they have failed to achieve (or very rarely have achieved) decision-making jobs, and this, in any country.
With only 15% of women in top management positions in the United States, and some 8% in France, the alarming fact remains – and contrary to perceived wisdom that things will sort themselves out over time - the situation has not improved these last 10 years.
Without the imposition of a concerted effort, which is both structured and flexible over the long term and targeted to improve current systems and behaviours, nothing will change. |

"Changing the lot of women in the workplace is not a question of (just) managing
a minority interest, but requires that all managers, both male and female, learn the language and
culture of both genders"
